Here is our Fall 2025 prayer letter, available to download as a PDF.
Praying Friends,
Hello from frigid, wet Southern Chile! While we try to escape the cold when possible, we are nevertheless delighted to be serving the LORD Jesus Christ here as His and your ambassadors. The last two months have flown, and we have much to share with our faithful friends.
We have finally been able to organize a regular foray to preach the gospel publicly, along with Alejandro and Cristian, and whoever else can make it. Bro. Gerardo accompanied us the last time we went out, and as winter settles in, we will continue to go out to distribute tracts and preach publicly despite the cold.

This past Sunday our family made hamburgers and hot dogs to share a “Fourth of July” style meal with the church and any neighbors that happened to show interest. As all church members were present and some visitors came as well, we had our highest attendance so far. We’re praising the LORD for visible fruit!

The visitors we mentioned in our last letter only visited a time or two more; typically people are looking for an exciting music ministry or some other trappings of modern churchianity, so when all they find is hymns and Bible preaching and teaching, they often resume their search for emotional fulfillment elsewhere.
Please pray for our upcoming anniversary celebration on July 20th. We’ve invited a special speaker from Santiago, and have passed out over 300 invitations (and if more than 2% of those people come, we’ll be over capacity!).
The space where we’re meeting is getting a little cramped, and we could use more class space for the kids. There are also no real kitchen facilities, but with two bathrooms, and a really great location, we’re trying to put off moving again until it’s completely unavoidable.
Discipleship classes with Alejandro and Cristian are complete, and Rodrigo is close to finishing as well. We’re moving on to some classes that I’ve prepared as “intro” classes to the Bible Institute, which should launch in March, 2026, even while we’re on furlough. Please pray for these men.
Furlough planning continues at a breakneck pace; we now have 60 (!) meetings scheduled for 2026, and some months are completely booked up. However, we still have a few supporting churches to contact (or we’re hoping to hear back from them) and we are still trying to plan our visit to New York State and Florida, probably toward the end of our furlough travels.
We would ask again for your consideration regarding our mode of travel. We will need to secure a pickup truck (probably 1-ton) and a fifth wheel RV for our family to live and travel in; any other setup simply isn’t sufficient for our family of six. We appreciate your prayers and consideration in this regard. Thank you so very much!
