Praying Friends,

With winter around the corner, we want to thank the LORD for another two months of serving Him here in Southern Chile. It is our privilege and honor to represent you as your Ambassadors here, as we labor together with God in this field to glorify Him, edify His body, and reach the lost with the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our faithful readers may remember that almost two years ago in June, 2023, along with Bro. Reppert who was with us at the time, I began holding in-home Bible studies with a man named Rodrigo here in Osorno. Rodrigo was already saved, but was rather confused about some important doctrines thanks to his typical Chilean charismatic background. After spending a few weeks in the Scriptures, the Holy Spirit made it clear to him that salvation is not a “thing” that can be gained and thus lost, but instead the Person of the LORD Jesus Christ.

Now, two years later, Rodrigo and his family have joined Iglesia Bautista el Faro here in Osorno. While numerical “growth” has been somewhat slow, and some people have shown enthusiasm but didn’t return, Rodrigo’s slow but certain trajectory is a demonstration of the importance of patience and waiting on the LORD to give the increase. Please pray for him and his family, as well as the rest of our faithful members, as we work and grow together for the glory of God.

It has also been a blessing to see the ladies of the church rally around to help with the kids’ class. Kathie is currently preparing most of the lessons, but the other ladies help with crafts and teaching, as well as handling the kids when they get a little rambunctious. We’re excited for the opportunity to minister to little souls and teach them the Bible, while their parents get a moment of quiet to hear and respond to the preaching.

We’ve also had a few other visitors from the neighborhood, including José and Rosi and their two children, as well as Joaquín. Rosi has come back once, as has Joaquín, and all have stated that they intend to attend the church, so please pray for us as we seek to minister to them.

In family news, we were finally able to get our final (hopefully!) trip to Santiago scheduled, which is to finish applying for Elizabeth’s U.S. citizenship and passport. Once that’s done and her documents arrive, all of the preparation we need for furlough will have been completed. Please pray for our travel to Santiago later this month.

Our planning for furlough is under full steam, balanced out with all of the other tasks and projects we have underway. We already have 42 meetings scheduled for 2026, as well as several other meetings promised but not yet on the calendar. That said, we still have many openings in our schedule, so if you would see fit to recommend us to a pastor friend, we would greatly appreciate it. We look forward to visiting our supporting churches, but the more quickly we can finish our course in the States, the sooner we can get back home to Chile and the people we are serving.

Thank you again for your faithfulness, and we look forward to seeing you all next year.
